Project Description

This project aims to install a 300 MWh battery energy storage system and replace the existing system for planning and managing the AD ESM's generation units. The latter involves 4 interrelated components: 1) Upgrading SCADA to Dispatch Centre; 2) Auction system for sale/purchase of electricity on electricity markets; 3) Software for forecasting electricity production from renewable sources; 4) Software for forecasting electricity production and creating physical schedules for production.

The WBIF provides technical assistance for developing the feasibility study for the project.
